Onchain tags

Onchain tags are pointers based on a user's wallet history and community membership.

Onchain tags are wallet identity pointers used to indicate a wallet's value and categorize them on Pacts Market. Tags help projects narrow their audience to find and reach the right users.

To start receiving pacts, users must verify their wallet to prove ownership. Pacts will check wallet eligibility and automatically assign related onchain tags on Discord. The same tags will reflect in the user's personal Pacts Inbox.

Onchain tags serve as identifiers as well as anti-sybil proxies. There are two types of onchain tags proving ones identity, based on a user's wallet history and based on offchain pointers.

1. Onchain tags based on wallet history

Pacts analyzes wallet histories to assign onchain tags, enabling precise wallet profiling. This process allows us to create user segments, facilitating an effective distribution system for both projects and users. Onchain tags may include, but are not limited to, yield farming, NFT-ownership, perpetuals trading, and onchain trading.

2. Onchain tags based on offchain pointers

In addition to analyzing wallet histories, Pacts incorporates offchain pointers. These pointers include onchain identity and credential providers such as DegenScore and Humanode, as well as community memberships. Representatives of communities like alpha groups, trading groups, NFT-collections and so on, can choose to list their community on Pacts Market for exposure, exclusive benefits, and to prove their worth.
